Not your usual openers for Poi Dog Pondering, but the fashion show fit right in to this event, a benefit for the Art Institute of Chicago. The first band was "A band called Heather" who sadly went on before most people had decided they were fashionably late enough to arrive.
Poi's two-part set was the closer for the evening's festivities. The theme was "Carnival" with two bands, a fashion show, a raffle and a silent auction. Everything took place at La Borsa on Saturday, February 22.
But who are we kidding? You want to see the band...
It was a black tie event, but there was no holding back the Poi fans. Even in their formalwear, they bounced up and down to the Poi beats with a leaning tower in the background.
